A Little About Me

I am an Irish Woman, and I would describe myself as Thoughtful, Independent and Creative. These Qualities were the Inspiration behind my Business Name: Thoughtful D.I.Y. Creations; as I think it’s Important that my Business Represents Who I am as a Person, as well as the Work that I Produce.

I enjoy Making Personalised and Meaningful Gifts. I Appreciate anything Handmade knowing that Thought, Love and Care went into the Process.

After Creating Numerous Art and Craft Tutorials on my Blog; I feel that I now have everything Achieved that I had Set out to. They are Detailed, Beginner-Friendly Tutorials; covering a wide Range of various Techniques. I will not be Writing Up any more Tutorials on the Blog.

I will Keep the Tutorials that I have Created on my Website; as I am really Proud of all the Work and Effort that went into Making every Craft, as well as Writing and Compiling each Tutorial.

I also believe they are Helpful, as they are the types of Tutorials I would have Loved to have Seen and Learned from Myself; at the beginning of my Arts and Crafts Journey.

It contains 100 Free Step-by-Step Tutorials spread across 10 Pages with an excerpt of 10 Tutorials on each Page. If you See a Tutorial you would like to try; Click the ‘Read More’ button underneath the excerpt to go straight to the Full Tutorial.

Every Tutorial Includes Photographs of each Stage of the Process; this makes it easier to understand the Written Part of the Tutorial underneath each Photograph.

My Tutorials Include a wide range of Craft subjects including D.I.Y. Home Decor, Seasonal Decor and Handmade Gift Ideas.

I have Tutorials on using Air Dry Clay in Moulds, How to Decoupage, Spray Painting different Objects, Upcycled Jars, Multiple Frame, Canvas and Wine Bottle Decorating Ideas, etc.

The Tutorials are divided into ‘Categories’ in the Sidebar such as ‘Decoupage Crafts’/’Christmas Crafts’/’Upcycled Crafts’ etc. to make it easy to Find the Craft you are interested in learning more about.

Some of my Tutorials are Made using Household Items which I Re-Purposed as I like Experimenting with and Re-Using Items that would normally end up in the Bin; and Transform them into a unique Creation.

I decided to Start the Blog to Document all that I have Created; and if I can Inspire Anyone at any Age to start D.I.Y. Projects and Crafting for Fun; I would be Delighted. It is never too late to learn a new Skill or Hobby.

My Blog Section is Beginner Friendly, Budget Friendly, Encouraging as well as Educational.
